IHETS Overview

We have a broad interest in understanding cellular features that are unique to different cell types. We use chemical biology and functional genomic tools on cell culture, zebrafish and mouse models to facilitate an improved comprehension of these features. We believe that this approach would facilitate the development of therapies for a broad range of diseases including cancer.

Our Aims

  • 1. To setup IHETS as an R&D and innovation partner to various national and international agencies.
  • 2. To co-develop products, applications and solutions for real world needs.
  • 3. To test/evaluate concepts, ideas, innovative projects in a controlled condition in our test beds.
  • 4. To explore commercial potential of various products and patentability.
  • 5. To facilitate market transition of products and solutions.
  • 6. To develop programs that foster entrepreneurship and creates employment.
  • 7. To facilitate exchange of knowledge and concepts across various countries.
  • 8. To provide alternative channel for underfunded but good projects to grow organically and reach the market.
  • 9. To provide education, training and support for various field staff to perform market evaluation, product testing and commercialization.
  • 10. To expose high potential projects to various investors.
